6.3 Questions: basing decisions on evidence

  • How do we help make evidence-based decisions on improving the links between school and work?

Comments

  1. Harness the energies of the teacher trainers and university staff including with staff in the Uk to collect data.

  2. Jiliah Situn says:

I would like to wrap-up my comments for the question 6.1 to 6.4 in this one spot. I have gained an experience of teaching, mentoring and assisting organisations to ensure their records managements systems work for them – the simple rule is ‘ let’s go to my kitchen and I’ll show you how to cook’. I’ll make sure that towards the end of the course, they can manage their own records.

In school, most of the time the students are learning through just watching, talking, reading, listening and discussion. A hands-on approach is equally important because it prepares students for industrial take-off when they have completed their course. Using public private partneship to obtain the necessary practical skills and knowledge should be integrated in the education systems.

The investment focus in further education should be based on industrial training and placement. This is very important because we often heard of today’s rumour saying anybody can buy a diploma/university certificate, but a pianist skills in playing the piano cannot be transferred to others because he/she cannot cut off fingers and give to others. Thank you.
