Education strategy 2010

About

Public Consultation Process
The Department for International Development (DFID) is producing a new education strategy in the context of the new challenges facing the world today.

We believe education is both a right, and a route out of poverty – it is an investment in our common future. We also recognise that consulting with a wide range of interested groups helps to ensure that the impact of our proposals on different sectors of society is taken into account.

The public consultation documents will be on this website for over 12 weeks from 6 August 2009. The public consultation process closes at midnight on Friday 30 October 2009.

All comments must be submitted before this deadline to be considered in the drafting of the strategy.

You can make comments on the document itself or you can send your comments directly to Education2010@dfid.gov.uk and via post:
Education Strategy Team, Policy Division, DFID, 1 Palace St, London, SW1E 5HE

The new education strategy will be published in early 2010.
